Astonished
BBC TV Newsnight presenter Jeremy Paxman,
on opening a parcel addressed to him containing the
stolen World War II Enigma decoding machine. The device
valued at £100,000 was stolen from the Bletchley Park
wartime codebreaking centre in Buckinghamshire, England,
on 1 April this year. The parcel had lain unopened for
days at the Newsnight office at the BBC Television
Centre, London.
