Extract from the Columbia and Parlophone Record Catalogue from September 1941 - 'Old Mother Riley's Past :

"Columbia proudly present those two lovable and human personalities of the stage, screen and radio - Arthur Lucan and Kitty McShane.
Everybody knows the redoubtable "Old Mother Riley", played by Arthur Lucan, who is bringing hapiness to millions every Saturday night with her broadcasts. Lucan and McShane (who are actually husband and wife) began their career as vaudeville 'turn' and Lucan played dame in Pantomime. Then came the idea of "Old Mother Riley", and their fame really began! Arthur and Kitty speak with pride of the fan mail they receive from young admirers of "Old Mother Riley", and one of the most cherished memories is the Royal Command Performance at the London Palladium in 1934, when they were presented to Their Majesties the King and Queen.
Their first record is full of charactersitic humour, and guaranteed to give most people a laugh".

COLUMBIA F.B. 2685 :
"OLD MOTHER RILEY ON THE FARM" (Two Parts)

COLUMBIA F.B. 2702 :
"OLD MOTHER RILEY'S BUDGET" and "OLD MOTHER RILEY TAKES HER MEDICINE".

COLUMBIA F.B. 2734 :
"OLD MOTHER RILEY IN THE POLICE FORCE". (Two Parts)
